I'm an artist who's style is realistic while slightly impressionistic, I aim to infuse my art with a smattering of whimsy.  My primary medium is acrylic paint because I love the bright colors and permanence of the medium.  I paint in a myriad of themes and accept commissions on most subject matter, one of my biggest sellers are my pet portraits.  My portfolio pages are categorized by themes, the paintings vary from very small 2.75x2.75", to as large as 48x48".  Most of my paintings are on canvas, but some are on materials such as:  rock, hardboard, glass, and more.

For as long as I can remember I've always wanted to be an artist.  When I was a young child I thought that I had to grow up and earn the title before I could officially say, "I am an artist."  In school, if I could do an artistic project instead of a written report, I was ecstatic.  I now realize that I've always been an artist. My approach to life is often "outside the box."   I'm the happiest when creating or desigining something, making instead of buying, teaching others, and of course spending hours lost in my painting projects. Selling my paintings is the most satisfying part of the process, if I can give pleasure to others through my art, it's the absolute best!

My faith in God has directed my life and my artistic journey.   I've come to realize that God is the original artist, every painting I've created is possible because God has filled our world with beauty.
